Bboy Battle: Lilou vs Physicx
This is one of the best and closest battles ever to take place at the Red Bull BC One, which is the preeminent one-on-one b-boy tournament every year. This is from 2005.
When people watch the DVD version of this battle, they're usually confused, because it appears Physicx absolutely dominated. But that's because the original music has been replaced on the DVD (licensing issues). Here the original music has been restored, so you can see that Lilou absolutely dominated with his top rocks and hit his beats incredibly well.
So who wins? You decide: is it style (Lilou) or technique (Physicx)?
The jury voted Lilou the winner, 3-2. He went on to win the whole thing.

You know it's funny -- I've seen more recent footage of both these guys, and they're both a lot better now, if you can believe it.

Awesome shit. I would have voted Lilou too. He's definately triping on the music he's breakin on. Not just to show a bunch of technical figures in order to score. It's breakdancing and he reminded us it's also about "dancing" and not just "breaking".
