From The NeverEnding Story, a 1984 film directed by Wolfgang Petersen. It stars Barret Oliver as Bastian Balthazar Bux, Noah Hathaway as Atreyu, and Tami Stronach as the Childlike Empress.

In this scene, Atreyu and Artax (his horse) enter the Swamps of Sadness in search of Morla, the Ancient One, the wisest being in Fantasia. He is their last chance of finding a cure for the Empress, who is deathly ill. Meanwhile, the Nothing is destroying Fantasia; and the servant of the power behind the Nothing, the Gmork, is tracking Atreyu and Artax down.
