Sesame Street was way cooler back then. It was more focused on learning and being progressive about alternate life-styles: kids could see mixed races, homeless, a schizophrenic bird, a numerically obsessed man, a gay couple and a monster with a fetish for baked goods living together in harmony. What a wonderful show.
