Merrie Melodies cartoon starring Elmer Fudd and, ostensibly, Bugs Bunny. The short was released on January 4, 1941. It is the first cartoon in which the name Bugs Bunny is given.
Elmer buys a rabbit in a pet shop and the animal pesters him mercilessly. Elmer is voiced by Arthur Q. Bryan and the hare by Mel Blanc.

I watched this one earlier today, but decided to send in Bugs Bunny Rides Again. I knew it was then or probably never, because you seem to be very thorough about the process of submitting all those Bugs Bunny cartoons. I hope I didn't pluck Bugs Bunny Rides Again from under your nose ...

Don't sweat it. There was once a time when I was very protective of my finds. That was during the days when I thought I owned the Internet. Or perhaps, I was brash and naive and stupid all rolled into one. Bugs episodes, as you can see if you click the tag, has been submitted by a lot of people, so I can hardly lay claim to him.
