anyone seen the film cutter's way? the coen bros. certainly did. in the final scene, jeff bridges' (very un-dudelike) character and his crazy vietnam vet buddy are in a rich man's house. as i recall there are a couple of other correlations. not that lebowski is a rip-off. cutter's way was kind of interesting but not bridges' best performance. i think lebowski was both bridges and john goodman's best work.
