So...Military recruitment adverts are cheesy and stupid outside the US the world over?
"Come join the Army and you'll instantly become a respectable stud with solid direction in his life"
Gimme a break. These kinds of messages only appeal to dumb-asses; the last people I want to protect the nation (unless they are just pure cannon fodder).
However, I'd love to go back to an Eastern Euro country. Damn. The woman there can be so bloody good looking (Israel and any Latin country, as well).

American military ads usualy play off of greco-roman idealism, put it simple they glorify the military and war.
I don't know which one is more respectable, america puts alot more money into it so they do look better.
