what!? an old guy who thinks break dancing is cool isn't a weirdo....he's a kickass old guy who appreciates that kids are off doing something constructive.
granted...that description does kind of remind me of the creepy old man from family guy....
but i give mr. rogers credit for sharing this type of dancing with the viewers...rather than scorning it as a waste of time.

As one of the commentors on youtube said that it is percieved that if a person is good with children that they are seen as creepy. Sad that this is the perception, especially with Mr. Rogers. Michael Jackson, on the other hand... ;-)

So right. If you're gentle with children people assume you're a pederast. Fred Rodgers would probably have a harder time of it with his show if it premiered now. That's not to say that there aren't some terrible beasts out there who should be put down...but it is just a shame they have to ruin it for the rest of us.

You're right, you know Dave? It's kind of sad how things are nowadays. Mr. Rogers was genuinely nice and he was such a role model to everyone (both children and adults). It's too bad that some people are too afraid to acknowledge that some are just extremely patient, nice and caring.

Ummm... I dont know how much this bastard knows about how kids think, but I'm never that condescending with kids. Kids have it rought, they get picked on and beat up, that have to fight and defend themselves. They're fighters -- and that's no way to treat fighters. And if u do treat fighters like taht, you're a creepy wierdo
