Why Do People Laugh at Creationists? Ep. 8
Episode 8. An examination of the misleading use of probability by Creationists and a very brief introduction to statistical thermodynamics, the field of chemistry that looks at the forces at play in the arrangements of atoms and molecules.

I didn't find this episode that convincing/thorough. It dealt with probability, but didn't really show philosophically the shortcomings of the Creationists' arguments. It's a short vid, I know, but so much more could be mentioned about the chemistry and the biology, e.g. descent with modification.

Maybe you get it, I don't know, but for anyone else, I think the point is that the whole probability thing is useless. Since everything exists, it must exist in a place. The chance of it being in the place that it is in doesn't matter. The fact that it ever existed and has then been moved by electromagnetic forces seen in chemistry show that once a thing is in a place, the electromagnetic force governs how things will eventually join together to form things like amino acids and protein molecules. So I guess a good question to ask here is: "is god the electromagnetic force?"

oh yeah, and can we get a playlist of all of these episodes at some point?

If god is the electromagnetic force, then that'd be ~demonstrable proof of god and pantheism! Sweet!
