CNN: Borat >>
CNN finally proved once and for all that TV news is faker than professional wrestling in this interview with WWE champion John Cena.

He certainly makes very good points. Not to defend CNN per se, I'd just like to point out that this happens frequently in journalism. Though, it usually isn't as blatant. True objective journalism is extremely rare. This CNN example just shows some of the extremes some journalists/editors will go to for the sensational story

Well done. All US news blows one way or another, I dont trust a word they report... except maybe for CBS 60 min.

Re: Fox News vs CNN vs WWE
This is so disappointing, but not surprising.
I found this place to get the news. Its completely non-partisan, gives you all the unadulterated facts, no opinions and no fluff stories.
Then I woke up.

Re: Fox News vs CNN vs WWE
Spot on. It's easy to target Fox because they are so obvious about their spin.
More worrisome are the mainstream organs of news... CNN, the NY Times, BBC, etc.
Because we think we can trust them.
And if we can't, what's left? If you go off the grid for your news sources, you will invariably go to highly partisan news sources (blogs have lately taken up a lot of this territory) that claim to have the news that the mainstream doesn't. But they are highly ideologically motivated (from the left or the right), so how can you trust them either?
And that leaves you having to sift through all the sources, trying to find the truth between the lines... and who the hell has time for that?
