ipods are great and everything but it kills me that anyone with enough money can get advertising in a documentary form on Discovery Channel that is posing as informative entertainment. Gimme a break, its like they had writers at Apple write the script. Yeah, yeah, its undeniably a cultural phenomenon but is it really worth this kind of attention?

It totally is worth the attention. The term iPod is used instead of 'portable mp3 player,' in the same way the brand-name Kleenex is used instead of tissue. That kind of market leap is special.
