You think the $100 a barrel price now is rough? Wait until the gusher wells are gone and only stripper wells are producing minimalistic results with the same costs of drilling. I suspect this will result in war, pestilence and famine (the last two because most pesticides and fertilizers require petrochemicals to produce cheaply).
