Indonesian 'Tree Man'
Dede's life changed dramatically after he cut his knee in a teenage accident. Treelike growths started to appear on his body. When cut off, these growths returned at an alarming rate. Luckily, an American doctor thinks he may have found a cure. He found out that Dede is suffering from the Human Papilloma Virus, which is a fairly common infection that usually causes warts to develop on the afflicted. However, Dede also has a rare genetic fault that impairs his immune system, meaning that his body is unable to contain the warts.
