I think this is a dutch version dubbed over with the english voices. thought I'd read that on youtube ^^;

No definitely not, my dad still sings this exact song once in a while to annoy me and he remembers it from when I watched sesame st. as a kid so its not dubbed.

no no what I meant is that the song is the same in english, but the pictures themselve are from the dutch show, so the purple big bird....

That purple bird is "Pino". He is Big Bird´s nephew from the Netherlands. He has made a few appearances on the American version of the show (and is indeed the Dutch version of Big Bird on "Sesamestraat" over there).
