Isn't this from the BBC (and later cancelled CBS) TV series, "Creature Comforts"? Yes, we know it's Aardman, but I didn't see W&G.
BTW, CBS (US) never even gave the series a chance. Absolute idiocy. Like four weeks without much promotion and then they pull the plug.

I'm not sure if it is clear in this clip, but the audio comes from actual, unscripted interviews with ordinary people.
The full series is available on DVD; it's hilarious in a low key, charming way.
