They're alright. I bought a bunch when I was in China, and unleashed them last Thanksgiving. For comparison's sake, they're better than the grocery store tea bags, but not as good as some of the loose leaf teas.
The first batch is always -way- too strong, because you have to let it steep for about 10 minutes until the thing is done blossoming.

One of my favorite teas is called "Dragon Pearl." It's a Chinese green tea that is small balls of green tea leaves wrapped around jasmine petals. It's very sweet and because the little pellets open in the hot water, it keeps a lot of flavor and scent in the jasmine. Not really for display like these, but I'd imagine the taste is similar, and that's worth it!
