Proving the Power of Prayer
In this scientific experiment, I totally prove that prayer is awesome, and that God exists!

I'm sorry, I get this guys pont but he sounds like a total douche-bag, even without him trying to sound like one.

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
Im really getting tired of crap videos like this on milkandcookies and other places. Im not religious in any way, but these videos are still completely ignorant and annoying as hell. We get it, you can't physically prove God. Wow you're smart!

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
Yah but honestly its just as annoying as turning on the TV on a sunday morning and being assaulted by religion.
And if you want to talk about being smart, why did you watch a link called "Proving the Power of Prayer" if you are tired of watching religious/anti religious vids.
You know i actually enjoy this kind of anti-religious humor, just like its funny as hell when religious people try legitamately proving gods existance. As Douglas Adams once said; `I refuse to prove that I exist,' says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
`But,' says Man, `The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.'
`Oh dear,' says God, `I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly disappears in a puff of logic.

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
Here's a solution for you. See the picture next to the description on the first page? That designates this video as having a religious subject. DON'T CLICK ON IT. And please don't write a comment complaining about it because that's just wasting your time even more. It's really just that simple.
There's plenty of stuff on here that I'm not interested in so I simply don't watch it. If you don't like some of the content, you have the freedom of choice. I hope people wake up to the fact that the internet is nearly instantaneous and that they can just skip the videos that don't interest them and find ones that do. The hosts write a description of what your going to watch for a reason. :-)

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
These sort of arguements and vids are interesting to me, but i did think the guy was a bit of a douche, like he was trying too hard to come across as funny. It's better when it's more "off the cuff" than pushed

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
Well, there is a part of me that is interested as to what science has to say about religion. I am intrigued by the arguments from both sides, its just I feel that they are both ignorant in their own regards. And most, not all, videos are just spewing the same crap over and over again, and it's really annoying trying to watch an inteligent video and I am just watching garbage.

Re: Proving the Power of Prayer
The problem is, this video isn't in the least bit witty. If there is a video that has humor in it, mocking either side that is fine. The guy who makes these videos however isn't funny in the least and is just another idiot who doesn't understand either side, just thinks "I don't believe I'm right I'll simplify everything down and pretend like I'm making a point."
