Is this actually a capella, or is this the vocal track from a normal performance? He's dancing as if he's got a band, and his timing is impeccable.

Probably pre-recorded and lip synched because he's not wearing a mic and also you notice he claps his hands a couple of times. But I have no doubt he could have easily sung it a cappella live. After singing it a few thousand times, he could probably hear every note and beat in his head.
