Re: German Hammer Guy
think your right look at -0.06. Doesnt look right. besides I think it would of been a lot louder and you need quite a bit of force to put a nail in. Its wood after all, not cork.

Re: German Hammer Guy
I'm pretty sure the nail is just superimposed. Look at how the hammers react after they hit the nail. They continue on their original trajectory. If you really threw a hammer and it hit a nail like that, the hammer would reverse direction even if you didnt throw it with enough force to pound the nail in. These hammers just act like they havent hit anything.

I guess I'm gullible, but I have to think it's real until proven otherwise.

Re: Juggling German Hammer Guy
A viral ad for a hammer company called OBI (http://www.obi.de/de/) done by this ad agency:

http://www.dialog-solutions.de/beispiele.php

I really don't know what it is about these viral ads but there's just something strange that makes it obvious that it's been staged. It's almost like they all follow the exact same formula for presentation that I am picking up on subconsciously.

Formatted like:Unassuming start, something amazing happens, ends with off camera laughter.

Re: Juggling German Hammer Guy
For me, the tipoff is the camera operator. It's always a professional videographer with perfect lighting and focus and bad framing, jiggly hands. And the action is almost plausible, yet physically impossible.

This one had the bonus of an unconvincing performance by the voice actor playing the part of the insipid camera douchebag.
