He knew because he failed to take him out! Why can't he take responsibility for his mistakes.

You can't be serious. He made a damn solid effort in 98 (http://www.cnn.com/US/9808/20/us.strikes.02/) and was condemned for trying to draw attention away from the Lewinsky bullshit.
This was after the CIA had poured billions of tax dollars into supporting the mujahideen during the Reagan years.
We stuck our fingers in that pot (the Middle East) and now we're paying for it, plain and simple. That doesn't mean we have to roll over and take terrorist attacks, but it's naive and dishonest to expect there won't be any.

Wait a second, I thought Bosnia was a ploy to draw attention away from Monica Lewinsky and the strike against Bin Ladin was a way to try to regain credibility with the military after massive defense cuts that left us vulnerable.

All I'm saying is where were all these anti-war activists when we went to Bosnia? It's not our fight, we shouldn't oppose our beliefs on another culture, they posed no real threat to us, how does that apply to Iraq and not Bosnia?

We were acting as the global police to put a stop to ethnic cleansing. Last time we didnt stop ethnic cleansing, hitler became a real thorn in our side.

I think the United Nations (the good guys who we backed at the time) asked us to help. =)
