This show was well known for their off the cuff adlibing. In the second take you can see Conway's smirk at 2:11 when he just formulated the ending to this hilarious version of the elephant story in his brain. Comedians today are so quick to get to the punchline. Conway was a master at allowing for a slow buildup to keep the audiance in stitches until the end. Love this clip!
