I give Margaret credit... she;s one of the few mainstream Asian comediennes...
The problem is that she is just not really funny... 3:30 min of Kabuki theater... that joke should not have lasted more than 30 secs. She killed it.

This is funnier if you've watched a lot of old Japanese movies or attended a bhutto dance performance.

I am not a fan of Margaret Cho. How did she get to be popular? Or is she another Kathy Griffin type who just obnoxiously forced her way into the spotlight?

I find Margaret Cho to be the sort of comedian that is only sorta funny the first time you watch it, but after thinking about it for a bit it gets better and better.
Also, Cho came and performed at my university a few years back. And I'll give bonus points to anyone famous who makes it a point to stop in Greeley, CO.

Kinda ironic that she's talking about how she often forgets she's asian. Here's my impression of the punchline to every friggin joke she does:
"...because I'm asian! HAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA HIGH FIVE" <checks watch> "HAAHAHhah. I'm asian. Get it? I live in America but I'm asian. I'm totally not white, isn't that totally wacky?"
