Wow. It's hard to believe he managed to get on SNL with that audition! No wonder the show sucks so bad half the time.

I don't know who edited this, but they have a questionable sense of humor.
The audition was just a tiny snippet of what he did for his audition. I've seen his full audition(someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is on his best of dvd. there are like 4 or 5 audition skits he does). The cat bit was the least funny thing he did. Some of the audition was pretty good.
The Goulet bit was okay, but he has done much better. MUCH better on SNl.
As far as your opinion on SNL in general, I agree only in that I think it sucks so bad about 3/4 or more of the time. I attribute watching it to sifting for a ring in the toilet(used). Yeah, sure, there is something in there worth getting, but 90% of it is shit.

the only time will ferrell is funny is when other people are impersonating him.
