Yep, President Jimmy Carter made an appearance on the "New What's My Line?" four years BEFORE he was president. What makes this a little strange to watch -- NOBODY KNEW WHO HE WAS AT THAT TIME. He was a Governor unknown to the rest of the nation.

I love that girl's comment "A government official that provides a service?!" She seemed honestly bewildered by that.
