The puppet's name was Emma Taylor, the impersonation was of Etta James. The truly impressive thing about Fator's act is that he not only sounded like Etta James, but he did it in a way that makes you understand just how good Etta James was.

You're absolutely right. His impression wasn't a cheap knockoff. He was giving full range. Really fantastic!
