Bright Eyes is popular in the indie rock scene...and definitely worth checking out. Not sure about the Jack White comparison (perhaps the image/outfit in this one performance, but I don't think it's B.E.s standard look), but lots of emotion and feeling is transmitted through B.E.s voice!

I liked what he had to say...I do hope that he's sincere...that he will continue to say what he feels & not get trapped by the 'bottom-liners' heading up the record companies.
Rather sad that he's one of very few to 'be themselves' in the world of rock music these days.
