Re: Daily Show: War Wars
If there were an enemy body count for this war the American public would beg us to have mercy on them. Vietnam is a retarted comparison because we were actually winning just not as decisive as now. Thank Walter for that one.

Is it just me or is nobody really winning in a war in these times?

Re: Daily Show: War Wars
O that wacky Bush.
The are only 52 cards in a deck. Who keeps handing him sealed boxes of excuses (with the same damn cards) to pick his hands from? I am just so sick and tired of him assuming that the American public doesn't actually listen to what he says - or that he can make himself utter such complete gibberish that we'll be unable to follow it and just accept that he's doing the right thing.

Re: Daily Show: War Wars
The thing with this war is that we are proving ourselves to be imperialist. Our strength comes not from our army but from our buissness giants. We need to feed these giants to keep us on top. And since we are have a lack of resources (oil). We invade a nation with oil to "colonize" so that our buisnesses can use its resources. So indirectly Bush is helping america.
If you look at the cold war it was the same except we were competing against the communists for Markets.
