Re: Jethro Tull: Hymn 43, Gaelic Version
Oh father high in heaven, smile down upon your son.
Whose busy with his money games, his women and his gun.
Oh Jesus save me!
And the unsung Western hero killed an Indian or three.
And made his name in Hollywood,
To set the white man free.
Oh Jesus save me!
If Jesus saves, well, He'd better save Himself.
From the gory glory seekers who use His name in death.
Oh Jesus save me!
I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon.
His cross was rather bloody,
He could hardly roll His stone.
Oh Jesus save me!

Wow!!! Thanks Spam for posting this...wonderful!

Jethro Tull has always been one of my (many) favourites...I simply love their music.

Twould be amazing to hear Ian Anderson sing this with his former awesome, alas, younger voice...(ageing really does suck!) but his skill with the flute is still perfection.

My pleasure. I was working out and heard the song on the iPod, so it was a natural to do a quickie search. Lots of cover bands at You B()()0O0Ooo..b And this one was certainly the most interesting. Tull was the band that got me out of jazz and into R&R in high school.
