Email John Gibson at John(dot)gibson(at)foxnews(dot)com. I asked for a formal apology. I don't expect a response. I wonder if I'm on a list now?

Gibson's response.
I don't want to call him a waste of oxygen, but I can't think of any other way to describe him.

Fucking wow. Having never heard of Gibson before, I was really interested to hear his response to, what appeared to be, accurate quotes. I was even giving him the benefit of the doubt as being misquoted. Here's Gibson's entire response:
"Hey, doesn't Olbermann have some no-name on his show a lot?" "Yeah, what did that guy talk about the other day?" "Something about gay people." "Yeah, that no-name guest he has on sure is a no-name." "Yeah, and Edward R. Murrow was lame too." <incomprehensable inside joke about bath tubs> "Hey, you know what I have to say about Olbermann? Good bye and good riddance!"
I can't even imagine in what world this is an acceptable response. Are there really millions of people that listen to this, nodding their heads? Regardless of your political alignment, you can't deny that Olbermann said "Gibson's terrible person for saying this, this and this and believing it." Gibson's response was is "I don't like a frequent guest on Olbermann's show."
HOW DOES THIS NOT MAKE PEOPEL UPSET??

Unbelieveably piggish. He doesn't even bother to defend his actions, statements, or stance. Instead he uses a truly cheap form of argument by simply (read as "basely") attacking Olbermann. Not an apology in sight, no explanation about what he might have actually said or possible misunderstandings - nope, instead he's owning up to his horribly cold and totally inappropriate behavior.
Truly a detestable human.
