In the San Francisco bay area, a pan handler can earn an average of about 58 per day. In santa cruz, you need a pan handling licence issued by the city.
No shit.

How very progressive. Heh.
I made the mistake once of juicing up the wipers. The dude stole my rubber blades right off the arms and chucked them down the storm drain.
Of course, this particular clip is nonsense. It assumes that every driver of the 2.6 per cycle pays. Truth is, less than one in ten does. And and eight hour day? Come now, no breaks? Constant traffic flow? Methinks not. Prolly a couple hundred a day tops, and that's if you're a hustler. I read in the NYT a couple of years ago that it's not unreasonable for these guys to make $25-30 / hour.

Lame, lame, lame. This just wasn't especially funny or original.
