Why is it that sometimes when I give a clip a lower rating than the average, the average goes up? I've seen it several times when I have given a three, like this clip. And yes, I am certain that I clicked the middle star.

I've experienced it as well (the voting tally moving in both directions opposite of my own). It's very easily explained in that between the time we click the link and the time that we actually voted, at least one other person voted. The page view is static but when you click a star, it's real-time results.

lol, Rob Zombie has no connection to Pee Wee's Playhouse. He was too busy starting the band White Zombie when PeeWee was on TV. Clever clip. Liked the movie, LOVE Captain Spaulding, love muppets, kinda felt like watching this was a waste of time. 2 stars.
