Speaking as a Canuck, i can appreciate how he feels about us. But honestly, he does play dirty pool, tho 85% of the time I am cool with him.

I don't care about the man, it's just the truth i'm after. He backs up his facts and didn't let CNN get away with it's shenanigans, so I do respect him for that.

I don't know why people have such a vengence against Moore. He just puts down facts and lets you decide what to believe. I honestly don't love him, but admire him for bringing up a topic that the majority of Americans are blind on

It's because of the truth part why he is disliked. Some people don't want to hear the truth (about them) and they hate those who tell it.

Moore doesn't give the whole truth. Moore interviews old men suffering from dementia and puts them into his movies. He also cuts and pastes bits and pieces of different speeches from the same old man in order to defame him. While I'm not a huge Charlton Heston fan, I'm not about to encourage anyone slandering him.
Moore misrepresents plenty of other people in his movies, a la Richard Clarke, the man who authorized the Bin Laden flights. He also misrepresents an American soldier, the last person you'd think Moore would slight. Peter Damon, the amputee in Fahrenheit 9/11, wholeheartedly supports everything that Bush is doing, and thinks that Moore should be ashamed of himself. He also tried to sue Moore.
I agree with most of Moore positions, but please don't take everything Moore says on face-value. I can go on with the inconsistencies in his movies, but it'd probably just waste space. I encourage you all to do your own fact-checking.
