Crap. I bet he never thought about this: their senses of hearing and smell are much better than ours.

Cats can detect airborne particles (using their sense of smell smell) about fourteen times better than humans, and dog is well over 40 times more acute than ours.

Dogs can hear sounds as high as 44khz, as opposed to our piddly 17khz; and at much greater distances, too. Cats hear even higher than dogs- as high as 64khz. Moreover, both species' ears articulate much better- meaning they can find the source of a sound much, much more quickly.

there's a mouse in the wall, or a family of them making a nest.

Sometimes my cat sits with his back to me, in the same three spots- but I'm always in three nearby spot when he does it. he's standing guard! aww!

I bet you never thought about this: you just wasted 1:45 when you could have been listening doing something as productive as listening to a Ramones song.
