It did go on eBay and it sold, with a blender, for $765.

The ebay link is for the iPod, he blended an iPhone. at any rate, did you see in the slow motion how long the screen stayed on? thats actually a bit impressive.

I want to say that they should have done it outside an Apple Store the release day, but I fear it would end up being about as lame as those "Smash My Wii/PS3/X360" schemes.
