Now that I watched this again, I'm not sure if they're called Pirates of Rei-chan or if thats the name of the performance they did.

WTF? Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky and raised in the States. What's with the pseudo English accent?

Sometimes when you spend a lot of time somewhere you pick up the accent.

Re: Johnny Depp meets the Marimba Ponies
It is not a "pseudo English accent". It is sometimes known as a "mid-Atlantic accent", and is common with ex-patriot Americans who have lived overseas for years outside of "American Ghettos" like military bases. Johny Depp has lived in Paris for years, in this example. I have several friends and one or two relatives who speak similarly, such as my brother-in-law who was also born in the States but has spent most of his life living in France, England, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
