Of course, the flashback clip was made just for this segment and at the present time (I'm guessing 2005 or 2006).

So would I. Obviously before Carell and Colbert left the show. So that makes it 2005 at the latest.

Wihich also means that it is subject to hindsight bias. You can't deny that when we asked saddam for permission to search somewhere for wmds and he said no, seemed ultra sketchy.
