Ok it's always funny to here Brits speak Japanese! But beside that, it's hard to judge Ganguro based on what you see on TV or the net. There not all freaky looking in person. Lots of them actually look pretty cool with it on. Some just take it too far.

But overall, Ganguro is just as bad a fashion style as is Gothic Lolita and any style that comes out of Harajuku.

To be fair Harajuku is guilty of being polarized by the West.

When I was last there there were some Ganguro who did take the whole thing a bit far, but you have a point saying other styles do too.

You only have to go see some of the schoolgirls walking around in knee high socks in bitter winter.
