Barrymore Barlowe was a far more skilled drummer, though I don't think anyone in the band ever got enough credit; gladly deferring to Ian Anderson getting the spotlight.

I'd have to agree with that assessment. But when you consider the kind of performer that Ian is, he'd steal spotlight no matter how much you TRIED to pay attention to the others.
