The first segment isn't bothersome at all. We all want to build self-esteem in our children. But the hatred part ought not be taught in our schools, or by Rush Limbaugh or by Bill O'Reilly either.

Oh yeah, I bet he'll start with subtitles like, "Mickey is going start by telling the kids to remember how important they are while Daddy is sending them to bed early so he can have another shot of bourbon. And then he'll lead the children in the Pledge of Allegiance" because we don't believe in indoctrination of our youth.
