Al is a SubGenius as are DEVO (just look for all the Dobbsheads hidden in their videos). He's not 'mocking' DEVO, he's 'mocking' the dunderheaded mediocretin pinkboys of this world who don't 'get' DEVO (or Al, for that matter).
