Great special effects, hokey story and schmaltzy ending. But that's what pushes futurists into believing that they can make a change.
Ever look at the 1943 World's Fair exhibits of what 1967 would be like? Flying cars, videophones and space travel for everyone. Then again, in 1972, we had Star Trek episodes which showed Spock popping a few dozen disks into his computer.
