The first season of the Mary Tyler-Moore Show had a different intro, including different song lyrics in Sonny Curtis' theme song "Love Is All Around" ("You might just make it after all" became "You're gonna make it after all").

on a personal note, 25 some years later i can see how this show empowered the fem movement. too bad the show sucked (along with that stupid lou grant spinoff), because this show tune was kind of cool; and MT certainly looked like a delightful little compact unit. now she's an oldie old timer reminiscing in her golden years...time flies, and then your reborn.....
