Euch, that was just terrible. How did that manage to be a headline??!! A true blight on humanity, and a waste of two great Monty Python skits, which I highly suggest you see the originals of. Seriously, that was painful to watch.

The point is that there's not much difference between this and the original dialogue. One has a genuine issue to address, the other is in a ridiculous state of denial which he is quite enthusiastic about. In the end, he turns out to have closet sexual issues. He put's on women's clothing and hangs around in bars.
The difference is that he's a lumberjack, and that's okay.
On the other hand being a gay crank-head fundamentalist preacher is sort of not okay.
