Tom Goes to the Mayor was ok for the first couple episodes, but it went downhill faster than a crack addict.

Effortless absurdity is great. Refer to Fooly Cooly, Excel Saga or The Far Side. However, the Adult Swim block strains itself for the same effect, and it comes through as cheesy and annoying. They have a lot of great ideas, but instead of making one or two awesome absurdities, they turn each idea into a series, killing the joke and coming off tacky.

This is the only thing I've seen on Tim and Eric wtf-ever show that didn't completely suck ass, and even then it's only mildly amusing. There is such a thing as being so bad that it's funny... but that show isn't it. It's just moronic, boring tripe. Obviously Adult Swim can do better, so which one of these no-talent dumbasses has an executive uncle at Cartoon Network?

Tim and Eric are geniuses. If you don't see that for yourself, you need to question your own comprehension skills. I for one am just glad there is something new to go over your head. It is only made all the better for the fact that it allows people to establish their place as non-it-getters, by proclaiming their lack of understanding in such a whiny manner as they do whenever this show comes up.
