Re: Rosie Odonnell's conspiracy Theory
yeah someone should definatly shut her up. wouldnt want anyone thinking. 'specially them fiesty womens.
seriously though she's right about having to go outside the country just to get real news about our own.
kinda sick about hearing about the '9/11 was a controlled demolition' thing though. one douchebag makes a video without checking his facts and everyone accepts it as true.

Re: Rosie Odonnell's conspiracy Theory
The controlled demolition was about WTC building number 7, not the twin towers, building 1 and 2. I had never head of building 7 until seeing this video clip.

Re: Rosie Odonnell's conspiracy Theory
I remember hearing about WTC 7 back when 9/11 dominated TV for a week. It was the one they brought down for safety reasons.
Re: Rosie Odonnell's conspiracy Theory
According to several government reports, it collapsed on its own. For instance in Chapter 5, page 31 of the FEMA report:

Popular Mechanics has some interesting theories:

Re: Rosie Odonnell's conspiracy Theory
after watching united 93 i didnt believe the conspiracy around the missile they say hit the pentagon.they tell you there was a plane headed there but it was too late to stop it.if it was controlled they couldve gave those in the building time to get out.it wouldve been just as disastrous but less casualties.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
Rosie was doing fine until the steel part. I don't know where this melted steel crap comes from. It's like saying you need to break all the legs of a table to make it collapse.
Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
Don't you know, steel I-beams are dug out of the ground fully finished.
If you want to know how steel changes as it's heated look no further then this handy-dandy phase diagram:

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
what she is TRYING TO argue is the fact that steel has to become SUPER heated in order to melt.... were talking much higher then a standard fire... and much higher then a fire burning wiht the assistance of plane fuel.... also she should have taken note of the fact that we have never had a burning building go down... in the history of the us.... sky scrapers have been known to burn for over a week ( steel ones) wihtout even hinting that they might fall down. and the towers themselves have been hit with a plane before too... and did not fall down.
i jus hate that fat kooky rosie....he/she needs to get her ass off tv.... because she is ignorant and ill informed

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
we've also never had them hit by huge effing planes. (key word is HUGE. the plane mentioned in that moron's video was a b-25 whose total width is less than the length of one of the wings of the planes that hit on 9/11) also, sure steel needs to become super heated to melt but at what point does it start to weaken enough that it cant support a big effing building that the middle has been taken out of?
and isnt ignorant the same thing as ill informed? but when you're calling the kettle black feel free to repeat yourself.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
Depending on how steel is heated and cooled you can change the physical properties of steel, which is why I linked the phase diagram. Also here is a T-T-T diagram to help you figure out how the steel is changing as it is heated over time.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
I think what she said hit the nail on the head, we were lied to, one needs to go outside the US to hear the real story, oil is the reason we went to Iraq and soon Iran, and the World Trade Center 7 was very interesting. I like Rosie, shes not afraid to speak her mind.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
"Go outside of the US media, because it's owned by four corporations. One of them is this one."
Rosie then disappeared into a cloud of irony.
"While he was enjoying himself, there were things going on in this world, namely three times he could have had Osama Bin Laden within his scope."
Elisabeth likewise attributed Clinton's achievements to his creative use of cigars.
Cripes. Rosie and Elisabeth are both idiots. Am I the only one who's sick of hearing this kind of crap from both sides? Yeesh.

Not really.
As a non-american its quite refreshing to hear you guys mirror what the rest of the world has been saying for the past 5 years.
It was perfectly obvious us Europeans, during the run up to war, that your media was as affective as a chocolate tea cup, and about time it started acting like the rest of the worlds media instead of some pointless cock-sucking yes men.
As for Clinton, he by no means affected international relations, foreign policy, as much as the current dip-shit bozzos and therefore has no comparison to todays administration.

"Oil is power, and if you wanna turn that over to them [iran]?"
Cough-Splutter-Wtf!
You mean the oil they already own?
What you really mean is "Oil is power, we don't own the power, do we want other people owning that?"
cry me a river bitch!

Given the opportunity, I would punch that blond in the face. Hard.
To imply that our country was endangered because Clinton was "having fun" is as retarded as it is arrogant. Blowjobs only take a few minutes last I checked. Presidents are allowed to have sex, as well as sleep and toilet privileges. If he was distracted, it wasn't so much during the blowjob, but the months of ruthless persecution afterwards. The right wing, with the singular goal of bringing down Clinton, jeopardized our countries security.

occasionally they take longer but it just gets awkward and you have to tell them to stop. also didnt he get one while on the phone with some diplomat? sounds like even blowjobs didnt distract this man. frankly, i think that's quite admirable.

what about bush being distracted by a children's book while the nation was under attack?

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
The blonde gets this funny glazed-over look when she goes on a digressing tirade. At least Rosie is somewhat pertinent. More importantly, she encouraged people to seek out external sources of news. That's the best thing any one of them could have said.

four minor celebrities with apparently no coherence of thought blabbing about stuff they know nothing about and sounding like a bunch of highschoolers in an american politics class going way off topic.
stick to what you know, ladies. politics does not need any BS from the pop culture vacuum; it can supply enough of that on its own.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
i dont care how big the plane was... did you not see how the buildings did fall... they effing imploded on themselves... no builiding ever does that... LET ALONE 3 in a row in the same area on the same damn day... WOW.... who knew that a plane crashing into the corner of a building would cause it to come straight down....
and as stated above rosie did point that you should do research on the topic... films like loose change... and the real truth are great... jus do a google search for 911 and grab some popcorn.
there are both conspiracy and anti conspiracy vids that are both worht watching... i personnaly... belive it was done by the government..... may take as long as whitewater to really come down to what really happened though

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
I believe Geo. Bush is without a doubt the worst president this country has ever seen, and am proud to say I never voted for him. However, if I, even for a *second* thought that the US govt. was vile enough to perpetrate the events of 9-11 on its own citizens, I would waste no time in getting the hell out. That is, I would *leave*. Immediately. Why would any sane person want to live in a country whose govt would do that to its own people? No one is keeping you conspiracy theorists prisoners here in the US. The borders are open and Canada is a big country with plenty of room. All of you Americans who think the US govt. brought the World Trade Center down (Rosie included) might be much happier there.

Re: The View: Iran and 9/11
canada is great wonderfull country i have visited many a times... but its not as easy as leaving your job and everything you have going for you here...... when the event did not directly affect you....... the only difference i have seen is gas...... cuz im still alive
