Sorry about that. The original clip was 320 pixels wide and in a Flash format that I couldn't upload because DM couldn't process it (Codec issue? I dunno). Also, the original site had lots of popup/popunder issues so I had to convert it to WMV. I had kept the same dimensions but of course DM chooses to enlarge.

Am I the only one who finds him annoying and unfunny? He comes off to me as a pseudo-intellectual who makes rambling, nonsensical references without really making a new point or revealing the humor in something. But a lot of people seem to love him. Maybe I'm just a simpleton unable to grasp his highbrow humor.

I share your opinion. He uses a lot of empty similes and metaphors as nods to whoever the hell gets the reference. I enjoy watching him only as much as I enjoy finishing a classic book or movie. I feel accomplished more than I feel like laughing, which is to say I feel disgusting for putting up an intellectual front. That's Dennis Miller for me.

I think he's got a few good jokes here and there, but he definitely tries too hard to make all of those references.

Dude makes my skin crawl. Total shill for the right wing. True comedy to me is ultimately about revealing truth. His schitick is just the opposite. I hope he dies a horrible death. Oh yeah, and I don't like him either.

Yeah he turned all Darth Vader in the 90's and whatever sense of humor he became famous for lost its charm in the deal like taking home Jessica Biel after a night at a bar only to wake up and realize its Jessica Tandy. ::Insert smug and shit-eating grin::
