The Dukes of Hazzard followed the adventures of two good ol' boys, Bo and Luke Duke, living in Hazzard County ripping around in their modified 1969 Dodge Charger, The General Lee.
Originally aired on the CBS television network from 1979 to 1985.
Bo Luke, played by John Schneider, and Luke Duke (Tom Wopat) were the cousins always in trouble with the law, primarily made up of Boss Jefferson Davis "J.D." Hogg, (Sorrell Booke), and Sheriff Rosco Purvis Coltrane (James Best).
Daisy Duke (who inspired shorts named after her) was played by Catherine Bach, and Uncle Jesse by Denver Pyle.
The show's theme song "The Good Ol' Boys" was written and performed by Waylon Jennings, who also narrated.
