Yes. I guess to you beating up little people means chasing them down, making sure they don't get hit by cars, and then actually finding them a job. Hell, I wish the police would beat me up a little too.

Helping the guy find a job is going beyond his responsibilities as a cop, especially in Vegas where city image is important. Cops just goes for what's entertaining.

Saturday, March 10th episode...
Officer Evan Rosenthal of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spots a couple being entertained by a little person on the Las Vegas Strip and stops to ensure the man is not solicting. The couple confirms that the man did ask them for money and he is taken into custody after he begins to argue with the officer and resists arrest. The performer tells Rosenthal that he wants to fight Mike Tyson and is only trying to make a buck. His record of assaults and larceny confirms that the officer made the right choice in detaining the man.

Must be the precursor to this clip.

While i have no inside scoop, I dont think it is staged so much as 'influenced' by the fact that he knows he has a camer on him.

I liked it though, probably one of the best cops clips ive seen.

I completely agree. Just about anyone is going to do their job a bit better when it's filmed for television.

Also, we also have to take into consideration how the show screens the footage for note-worthy clips. They probably cut out a lot of boring footage to find a few moments where the felons are especially nasty/amusing or the officers are especially clever.

That seems a bit too good to be true. But if it's real, Good on the officer for having a proactive solution. Doesn't mean he kept up with the job though. Wonder what happened.

Man, that's like the feel-good movie of the year. I laughed, I almost cried, I was reminded of the status of the black man in today's society, yet I was filled with hope for the future. Awesome.
