Even having with the foreknowledge that this technology is out there, it's still absolutely astonishing to see it in practice!

This was presented at Siggraph in 1999. So imagine what he's been working on since.

Man, if I had thought that this was going to make it to headline, I would have submitted this with all the other tech videos I posted lol. Most of them were used in a lecture for my Cognitive Science class.

He has probably been taking royalties from the FBI so they can compile a face database under the USA Patriot Act. Very convenient: just take a picture from your harddrive and search for a matching face on google face or something.
