Wow... it's truly amazing the innovations achieved by inventive minds when they apply their talents to unique challenges.
...for about 2 minutes, and then it's really f$#king boring, and sort of disappointing that they whored their talents out to "Jeep".
But amazing too...did I mention that? Inventive minds...unique challenges...etc...

From someone who has lived through nearly a decade of drought, all I see is a creative waste of water.
However, that may just be the jealousy talking...

Re: Graphic Waterfall
He mentioned they lost about 20 gallons of water a day. The loss was due to humidification, and to spash on the floor. Considering there is 1000 gallons in the resevoir, that's not much of a loss.
I'm in the north near the great lakes and water is in total abundance. The technology could be used for advertising, art forms, or just deliniating personal space. Of course the noise might be a problem, if the background noise on the video was any indication.

Re: Graphic Waterfall
The Graphical Waterfall is an invention of Professor Steve Pevnick from the University Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Professor Pevnick was an environmental artist before the term was even really used. He created the Graphical Waterfall in the early 70s working with light, sound and water. It was originally called "Rainfall" and was patented in 1979.
Working with water and ice as his medium, Professor Pevnick created devices that could be felt and sensed rather than to just look at.
