I wonder if he arranged them completly, or if he took already existing arrangements and then changed them to minor. Someone with his piano skills shouldn't have much trouble turning a song in major to minor. It's only a couple note changes, after all.

The easiest way would seem to move your hands two keys to the left and play it like normal, adjusting for natural/harmonic/melodic minor as desired. Fun stuff, in any case.

Good stuff. Bruce Cockburn's christmas album has a minor key version of "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" (composed by Sam Phillips) and it's so good. Some of these songs are better in the minor key. I wouldn't call them evil, but ethereal, which for some of them work much better.

You think minor is fun... a friend of mine at a Christmas party once started playing them in random modes.
